Soar through the treetops at the foothills of the Blue Mountains on an array of flying foxes, tight ropes and tunnels! Treetops Adventure Yarramundi is located only 20 minutes from Penrith and boasts 10 long tree ropes courses, 80+ aerial challenges and 15 zip lines suspended along the Grose River.

A 2.5-hour session through the aerial challenges (including gearing up) will have you laughing along with the kookaburras. After safety, your adrenaline is our top priority, so our courses are designed to challenge you, no matter what level you’re at.

Starting with easy aerial challenges and leaping up to expert courses amongst the blue gums, our courses are suited for climbers 3yrs – 75yrs +. The BalletColourful Autumn 2022 Workshop will be held on Tuesday April 12th in Leura NSW, for dancers aged 10 – 16. The workshop will consist of an Open Ballet class, Strength and Conditioning, and National Character dance delivered in a supportive and encouraging environment by Professional Dancer and Owner of BalletColourful, Fenella McKirdy. Dancers also receive a 100% Organic Cotton embroidered BalletColourful ‘Ballet Shoes Bag’ to take home.

‘Light Up The Night’ At Scenic World

AN ILLUMINOUS EXPERIENCE WITH LIGHTS, BITES & EPIC VIEWS!

As the sun dips below the horizon, Scenic World will be switching on the lights – all 50,000 of them to create a sparkling, illuminous experience across the site from the 8th – 30th April.

Visitors of all ages will be dazzled by the tens of thousands of lights, shaped into insta-worthy installations and sculptures. Kids will love racing through the light maze, taking a spin in the carnival rides and ripping up the silent nightclub dance floor, with music mixed by local legends, Hermitude.

Entertain your taste buds at the Bite Up The Night pop up stall where you can fuel up for the world’s only cable car nightclub, the Disco Skyway, with music also programmed by Hermitude.

Dance the night away at 270 metres above the canopy as you travel across the valley to explore the Katoomba Night-Lit Walk, operated by Blue Mountains City Council. The 1.3km family-friendly illuminated circuit connects to lookouts to view the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls, Orphan Rock and part of the Jamison Valley escarpment which will be lit up under the night sky.

WHEN: Light Up The Night sessions are from 5pm—7:30pm (arrival time) and the site stays open until 9:30pm.

SOAK UP THE SERENITY & COLOURS OF MOUNT WILSON

Mount Wilson is well known for the myriad of colours that emerge from its deciduous trees during Autumn. They paint the town in an amazing variety of yellows, oranges and reds. Visitors are attracted to Mount Wilson’s small town charm and enjoy the walks and picnic spots here. The Cathedral of Ferns (view map) is a must. Bowen’s Creek Picnic Ground is another nice spot.

Gardens in Mount Wilson that you may like to visit include Breenhold Garden (View map). There are many beautiful spots to see at Breenhold Garden, including Laburnun Steps, Pine Tree Avenue, Compass Garden, Promontory Lookout, Bailey Paths and Socrates Garden), Yengo Sculpture Gardens, Nooroo, Sefton Cottage, Windyridge. More gardens can be found here. You may also be interested in visiting Wynne’s Rock Lookout, Pheasant’s Cave and Du Faurs Rock.

Please keep in mind though that mobile phone reception is patchy or non existent and that there are no shops, petrol stations or medical services in Mount Wilson (the closest are in Mount Victoria and Lithgow). You will also need to take ALL rubbish with you as the local bins cannot cope with too much rubbish.

Youth Week Festival 2022

FREE community event at
Glenbrook Skate Park

Get your crew together and get amongst the action! The Youth Week Festival 2022 includes skateboard, scooter and bike comps, live band including Trash Baby, Florah, The Jerbus Trio and Andie Dee, as well as a free BBQ, coffee van, art & drumming workshops and more.

The Competition is open to amateur riders aged 12-24. Be there at 10am-11am to register. There are heaps of prizes to be won. Helmets are required.
