Scouts NSW
Scouts NSW gives youth aged 5 to 17 the opportunity to take part in an extraordinary variety of outdoor activities, from ‘traditional Scouting skills’ such as camping and bushcraft, through to more extreme challenges such as abseiling, overnight hiking, rafting, canoeing, canyoning, snow activities, rock climbing, sailing and even flying. There are Scout Groups all over the Blue Mountains, in Springwood, Blaxland, Hazelbrook, and Blackheath. Each group meet weekly during the school term, taking part in fun and games, planning for big events, and developing new skills.
