St John’s park and playground Blaxland is an excellent space in the Blue Mountains for children, youth and families. Its main features are the large 400m oval that is regularly used for team sports and the semi-fenced inclusive playground, which was upgraded in 2021.

St John’s oval is home to the Blaxland Redbacks Football Club.

There are two basketball/netball courts that are doubled as scooter and bike riding spaces for children.

St John’s Park and Playground Blaxland Is Great For Bikes and Scooters

There is a lot of fun to be had for children on bikes and scooters at St John’s Park and playground in Blaxland as it is a flat surface and fenced on the side of St John’s Road.

There is even a small bush track to ride through just behind the basketball courts.

Your kids may also like to venture into the short bush path next to the basketball courts. It is only about 100 meters long but gives your children a taste of bush bike riding!

A lovely park but until it is fully fenced on all four sides I wont be able to use it. Are there plans to complete the fencing on the fourth side ?
