Melrose Junior Skatepark Katoomba, is set in the beautiful upper Blue Mountains. It is a fantastic location for beginner bike riders and scooterers.

Melrose Junior Skatepark Katoomba Is Great For Families and Beginners

Back in 2009/2010 a need for a skatepark for beginners on wheels and their families was identified as the skatepark on Goldsmith Place was more suitable for more experienced, older riders.

At Melrose Junior Skatepark, kids can loop the bike track around the junior skate area and try some tricks in the skate bowl on rollerskates, scooters, bikes, trikes, skateboards or rollerblades.

Melrose Junior Skatepark was designed with younger, beginner riders in mind, however, all ages may enjoy this space. They may not be challenged at this park though as the bowl is smaller than a regular sized skatepark and features for tricks are limited.

There is even a fun playground right next to it with five new swings for all ages and abilities and plenty of seating nearby to watch your kids in action.

The old play equipment is near the newer swing set.
