Yellow Rock Playground is set in the quiet back streets of Yellow Rock in the Blue Mountains. It is a hidden gem of a park with so many fun features for children of all ages to enjoy. This playground was renovated in 2013 after fires with new play equipment and is worth a visit with your family.

Fun Features at Yellow Rock Playground

At Yellow Rock Playground, you will find:

A fun looped bike and scooter track,

A blue handball wall,

Swing set – including a small nest swing and toddler swing,

Play equipment with a double wavy slide, small rock climbing wall, monkey bars, fireman’s pole and a naughts and crosses game,

Australiana mosaic wall with birds, animals and flora (you may like to take some lovely photos of your children here),

Painted Aussie pictures placed sporatically over the bike and scooter path which are great for kids to make up their own games,
Picnic bench,

Plenty of sandstone rock seating.

Little green cafe window.

Many people also check out Yellow Rock Lookout while in the area too. It is located at the end of Yellow Rock Road and is a great spot for a quiet picnic or walk with the dog.

There are some steep drop-offs in the area and some parts that are not fenced so please take care and supervise children at all times.
