The aim of Riv Kids is for primary school-aged home schooled children to have the opportunity to play freely, learn alongside, and form friendships with, children they meet on a regular basis. Similarly, for parents and carers to connect, support and encourage one another in their home schooling journeys.

A one-hour group activity is facilitated by a parent volunteer (10:30-11:30am). Occasionally, guest speakers or incursions are organised. The meeting takes place in a hall with two sets of playgrounds which are fenced, so this allows for free play before and after the structured activity.

Check the Riv Kids Facebook event page each week for any specific requirements (eg. paint shirt/tennis racquet/old magazines).

Where: Mt Riverview Community Hall- 11A Calver Avenue, Turn into Mt Riverview shops (off Rusden Rd) and head around the right of the water tower. You will see the playground and hall.

When: Fridays 10am-12pm (organised activity begins at 10.30am)

Cost: Home Education Australia (HEA) MEMBER $40/Term
NON HEA MEMBER $50/Term
CASUAL FEE FOR MEMBERS $6/week, OR NON MEMBERS $7/week
