Leora and Oriana are the founders of the reconnect2thrive – Play and Attachment & Based Family Therapy Services inthe Blue Mountains. We have decades of collective experience training – qualifications in the field of early childhood education, family support and play based therapy.

We specialise in nurturing children’s growth, emotional development, and wellbeing. Grounded in a humanistic lens, our approach values and celebrates the unique journey of each individual.

Informed by current scientific evidence on human development, early childhood development, neuroscience, neurobiology, modern attachment, and trauma theories.

Our Approach

Play & attachment-based therapy offers a compassionate, family-centered way to address emotional and behavioural challenges, while also strengthening family connections. By fostering empathy, communication, and resilience, this approach helps children and families overcome struggles and build healthier, more supportive relationships.

We create an environment of emotional safety where words are not required and it’s all about
play and deep emotional connections.
