Pamela Parade Reserve Playground in Leonay is so tucked away at the foot of the Blue Mountains in Greater Western Sydney. You will find this lovely space for families in the quiet back streets of Leonay. It is a small playground that has received an upgrade by Penrith City Council in recent years and is worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Pamela Parade Reserve is set away from main roads at the foot of the Blue Mountains in leafy Leonay. The playground has been upgraded with new equipment, shade sails, a sheltered picnic table, park bench and soft fall.

The playground equipment includes:

  • Two swings, including a toddler swing

  • A small and large slide
  • A tiny shop

  •  Spiderweb climbing structure

  •  Rock climbing wall
  •  Wobbly surf/balance board

  •  A sideways ladder.

Pamela Parade Reserve playground is surrounded by beautiful established trees and is a lovely spot to meet up with friends for morning or afternoon tea.

Tips For Your Visit to Pamela Parade Reserve Playground

  •  BYO food and drinks – there is nowhere to buy food.
  • There are no toilet facilities, so this park is good for a quick play (or for little ones who wear nappies).

  •  The playground is fenced on one side but is set a fair distance from the road.
  • Kids up to about ages 8 or 9 would enjoy this playground. Bring a ball to kick around on the grass or anything else to inspire imaginative play.
